Co-Founder & CPO
Martina is a talented, experienced film director and producer based in New York City. From early on, filmmaking has been her passion and she has explored different types of media to tell all kinds of stories. Because of her background as a visual artist her work is evocative and meticulously visual. Over the years she’s worn many hats in the industry, which has given her the experience and confidence to develop a unique personal vision. She is a dreamer, a passionate and dedicated artist, always looking for new challenges.
In 2011 she founded Mosaico Studios, a boutique production company, with the purpose of making films and telling stories worth hearing: ones that have conceptual topics and explore all human behaviors. She has directed successful campaigns for the Girl Scouts of America, featured in national media. Her work also includes commercials, corporate videos and short films screened in a variety of venues. Her clients include Fresenius Medical Care, Concacaf, Girl Scouts, New Futuro and others.
She began her professional career as an Assistant Director and was later promoted to Executive Producer at Teleset Comerciales, where she collaborated with award winning directors for agencies such as: Leoburnett, Lowe SSP, DDB, Publicis and Ogilvy, and important clients like Nokia, SabMiller, Kellogg’s, J&J, Alpina and Davivienda.
Martina holds an M.A in Visual Arts from Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, a Film Directing Conservatory Degree from The New York Film Academy and has attended a number of workshops in writing, cinematography and acting. Virtual Reality has become her new focus and all previous knowledge will be valuable in bringing to life new and groundbreaking immersive experiences for audiences.
