Tomas started his career in the retail sector as marketing specialist for Quala, the fifth largest Colombian multinational company in the food industry. He went on to the real estate sector, where he worked with companies such as Terranum, the largest real estate developer in Colombia, and IC Constructora, a family owned construction company, in developing, implementing and leading their sales and marketing strategies. Through these experiences he was exposed to and became an expert at technologies such as immersive 360-degree videos, virtual tours and augmented reality, all of which helped develop his passion for innovation and virtual technology. Tomas currently resides in New York where he is focused on leveraging technology to create experiences that transport people to new and unexpected possibilities.
Mr. Huertas holds a Masters degree in Marketing Management from CESA- Colegio de Administración de Empresas (Colombia) and a Masters degree in Marketing and Commercial Management from ESIC (Spain).
